The basketball jersey was once only a small piece of the fashion puzzle, but for urban men these days it’s a regular piece of your daily wardrobe. This uptrend in fashion is not lost on the NBA, as they are coming out each and every day with excited new jersey. Things from home to road jerseys, and throwbacks to Latin inspired designs. However, for those that believe the jersey is a very ordinary concept, think again. It’s far more involved than your average piece of clothing.

Just like the status and the amount of cool you are from wearing a piece of Rocawear clothing, a lot can be said about the type of jersey you wear. Making a bold decision to wear LeBron James, a year after James became the biggest villain in sports really says something about who you are. Wearing the jersey of Derrick Rose, an NBA up and comer, is a completely different statement all together.

These pieces tell people just what you are all about. Jerseys, like all fashion, will come in and out. Still, for the time being jerseys are the hottest thing on the market and aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.
